Review of the functioning of the Governing Body, identification of possible areas for improvement and arrangements and time frame for results-based follow-up action

This document provides information on previous constituent-led reviews of the functioning of the Governing Body, which led to the adoption of the current Compendium of rules applicable to the Governing Body of the ILO; identifies areas in which constituents have indicated a need for potential further reviews and improvements; and outlines the different modalities that could be used by the Governing Body to review the current rules, should the Governing Body decide that further action is advisable or necessary (see the draft decision in paragraph 46).
