While focusing on a comprehensive overview of conditions in Europe, the 2023 European State of the Climate (ESOTC) also looks at conditions for the Arctic and provides an overview of the global context. It provides a detailed analysis, with descriptions of climate conditions, key events and their impacts, and explores the associated variations in key climate variables from across the Earth system. For 2023, a discussion of climate policy and action with a focus on human health is included. ESOTC is a web-based report.
