The Opportunity: As part of a multi-disciplinary team, the Mental Health Clinician provides a range of mental health services to children, youth and their families within a First Nations cultural and socioeconomic setting. [...] • Interviews clients, prepares case histories and assesses problems • Develop counseling and intervention programs to assist clients in determining goals and means of attaining them • Prepares an agreed upon case plan with the client that contains goals for mental health issue modification/ amelioration and the behavioral change methods for achieving those goals. [...] • Participates in ICT meetings; including; process, care planning and follow up, resource planning, standards while maximizing the scope of practice of ICT members • Implement and deliver counseling and intervention programs • Evaluate the effectiveness of counseling programs and client progress in resolving identified problems and movement towards defined goals • Provides community education and.
