COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE ST. PAUL SCHOOL DIVISON

Effective June 10, 2022, whereas the Teachers’ Employer Bargaining Association (TEBA) and The Alberta Teachers’ Association (Association) recognize the value of harmonious and mutually beneficial relationships in the conduct of teacher collective bargaining WHEREAS the terms and conditions of employment and the salaries of the teachers have been the subject of negotiations between the parties; and. [...] The evaluation of teacher education for salary grid purposes shall be determined by a statement of qualifications issued by the Alberta Teacher Qualifications Service in accordance with the policies and principles approved by the Teacher Salary Qualifications Board established under Memorandum of Agreement among the Department of Education, The Alberta Teachers' Association and the Alberta School. [...] In the event a substitute teacher’s assignment is cancelled by the Employer and notice of such cancellation is not transmitted to the substitute teacher prior to 6:00 PM on the day prior to the assignment, the substitute teacher shall report to work as directed by the Employer and carry out those duties that are assigned to the substitute teacher by the Employer. [...] Where a teacher is responsible for the full cost of premiums for any health plan under this Article, it is the responsibility of the teacher to notify the Employer in writing of their intent to continue coverage under the plan and to arrange for payment of the required premiums. [...] Prior to leave being granted, the Employer and the teacher shall agree to the terms and conditions of resumption of duties on the part of the teacher.
