The first post-Brexit election

So the election is here, and it is one of the strangest there has been. For months now it has seemed overdue, yet its sudden, unexpected announcement for July makes it also seem premature. It was called by the third Prime Minister to hold office since the previous election, his predecessors having been deposed amid scandal and chaos, itself inseparable from the chaos unleashed by Brexit. If the outcome is a majority for either of the main parties it will be in some way extraordinary. For the Tor
