Form of affidavit to be filed at the time of delivering nomination paper.—The candidate or his proposer, as the case may be, shall, at the time of delivering to the returning officer the nomination paper under sub-section (1) of section 33 of the Act, also deliver to him an affidavit sworn by the candidate before a Magistrate of the first class or a Notary in Form 26.] 1. [...] Form of ballot paper.—5[(1) Every postal ballot paper shall have a counterfoil attached thereto, and the said ballot paper and the counterfoil shall be in such form, and the particulars therein shall be in such language or languages, as the Election Commission may direct.] (2) The names of the candidates shall be arranged 6[on the postal ballot paper] in the order in which they appear in the list. [...] 2[(2) The returning officer shall at the same time— (a) record on the counterfoil of the ballot paper the electoral roll number of the electoral as entered in the marked copy of the electoral roll; (b) mark the name of the elector in the marked copy of the electoral roll to indicate that a ballot paper has been issued to him, without however recording therein the serial number of the ballot paper. [...] 1[(3) In the case of an absentee voter, the recording of vote shall be made in such centre as may be specified by the Election Commission: Provided that in the case of absentee voter in the class of senior citizen or persons with disability, the attestation of declaration in Form 13A shall be done by the poll officer. [...] (4) Each sub-list prepared under sub-rule (3) shall thereafter be caused to be added by the returning officer at the end to the relevant part of the electoral roll pertaining to each polling station concerned, and such relevant part of the electoral roll together with the said sub-list shall be deemed to be the copy of the electoral roll to be used as the marked copy of the electoral roll under ru.
