The project is an initiative of the Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund (CEPF): a partnership of l’Agence Française de Développement, CI, the European Union, the Global Environment Facility, the Government of Japan, and the World Bank. [...] This component will strengthen the role and widen the responsibilities of the RITs in the active hotspots vis-à-vis the CEPF Secretariat. [...] The Family and Medical Leave Act (1993) requires employers of 50 or more employees to give up to 12 weeks of unpaid, job-protected leave to eligible employees for the birth or adoption of a child or for the serious illness of the employee or a spouse, child or parent.
