SEPTEMBER QUARTERLY BOARD MEETING MINUTES International Osoyoos Lake Board of Control

The Applicant has been in compliance with the Order all year as the exceedance was a result of freshet flows and all gates at Zosel Dam were open at the time of exceedance. [...] Since the spring the Board Secretaries and Co-Chairs have worked on the letter and provided it to the Board Members in draft form. [...] The IJC asked for the Statement of Work document to be cleaned up as the process is moving into the contracting stage. [...] Groups that have been contacted about potential meetings the week of Sept 22-25 include the Osoyoos Lake Water Quality Society, the Lower Similkameen Indian Band, and the Regional District of the Okanagan and Similkameen. [...] The goal of these meetings is to listen and learn from people and groups in the Basin; it was emphasized that the IJC does not want to overtake other efforts and is instead looking for gaps.
