Objectives The objectives of the project are: • support and enhance new and existing regional horticultural events; and • promote agricultural production, trade opportunities, and the economic benefits to regional communities through showcasing Australian horticulture. [...] 3 National Horticulture Roadshow NationalHorticulture Road Grant Guidelines Show To avoid any doubt, grant funding cannot be used for the following: • new events that would duplicate or compete with existing events • purchase of land • the covering of retrospective costs • costs incurred in the preparation of a grant application or related documentation • subsidy of general ongoing administration. [...] Criteria 1: Delivery against project objectives and outcomes • The extent to which activities will facilitate new investment and connections, improve workforce outcomes, support the sustainability of Australian-grown horticulture, uplift domestic capacity, support trade opportunities, and help the horticulture sector to be more resilient, competitive, and prosperous. [...] • The extent to which activities will be delivered to a wide audience, including o the size of the audience; o composition of the audience, across one or more commodities, states or growing regions; o any plans to capture activity outcomes or recordings that will enable ongoing benefits. [...] Criteria 3: Efficient use of grant funds • The extent to which activities represent an efficient and effective use of resources, as demonstrated by: o an indicative budget outlining how the funds would be applied o any sponsorship inclusions for the Australian Government, and o any co-investment or financial contributions from other parties to complement the grant funding.
