In 2016 the youth unemployment rate exceeded the unemployment rate for the population aged 15–75 by 55% while the youth employment rate was 33% lower than the rate for the population aged 15–75.4 However, one of the major problems followed in this field, is not only the shortage of jobs but the discrepancy between the requirements of the labour market and the competences of young people.5 1.2.
