These inequalities are evident in various different aspects of modern life, and include health, employment, regional and educational inequalities. The Covid-19 crisis highlights these pre-existing areas of societal divide and shows how these inequalities have placed the burden of the Covid-19 crisis on the most vulnerable members of society.
