[...] BACKGROUND At the 12th Session of the IOTC Compliance Committee, the following recommendation was made: The CoC RECOMMENDED that the IOTC Secretariat provide CPCs with the assessment criteria to understand the process of how the Compliance Reports are compiled, including information on the year being assessed for each requirement (Paragraph 47, IOTC–2015–CoC12–R[E], 62 pp). [...] DISCUSSION Following the recommendation of the Compliance Committee, the IOTC Secretariat is pleased to provide document IOTC-2020-WPICMM03-11 Add1 [English], the assessment criteria to be used for the compilation of the Compliance Reports for the 2020 meeting. [...] 2) FINALISE AND ENDORSE the assessment criteria and the template of the Compliance Report, for the Compliance process of 2020.
