Schedule for completion of the research The student should consult with the Solutions Course Advisor(s) to develop the research plan and the Solutions Course Advisor(s) may provide assistance and suggestions in the preparation of the prospectus, but the document should primarily be led by the student. [...] The prospectus should identify the theme of the dissertation, the context of the theme within the resident's responsibilities at the participating institution, and the general outline of the dissertation. [...] A complete draft of the dissertation must be in the hands of the Chair of the Doctoral Committee before the beginning of the quarter in which the student anticipates filing the dissertation.
