Normalizing Community Mask-Wearing: A Cluster Randomized Trial in Bangladesh Jason

In this paper we report on the first-stage outcome: the effect of the intervention on the prevalence of mask-wearing.2 Mask-wearing was assessed through direct observation in public locations including mosques, markets, the main entrance roads to villages, and tea-stalls. [...] The video was shown to each house- hold during the mask distribution visit and featured the Honorable Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina, the head of the Imam Training Academy, and the national cricket star Shakib Al Hasan.
