[...] Facilitator: Major Brandon Gray (SEARCH Member–NJ) Vice Chair, SEARCH 3:00P–3:30P Break – Take this opportunity to meet with our sponsors 3:30P–5:00P Gaps in Criminal History Records (CHR) Systems SEARCH is continuing to support the Performance Accountability Council (PAC) Program Management Office (PMO) and the Defense Counterintellligence and Security Agency (DCSA) in their efforts to enhance Fe. [...] SEARCH’s work for the PAC PMO and DCSA includes conducting on-site visits with state and local agencies to document challenges and promising practices for reporting arrests and dispositions, preparing guides to help stakeholders better understand criminal history records, preparing profiles of state CHR systems, and replicating the name search efficacy report SEARCH originally prepared in 1999. [...] This workshop is open to (Executive Session: SEARCH Members only and two representatives of each Vendor/Solution Provider will be Open to Members, allowed in the room for presentation and discussion during their time slot. [...] The goal of the FBI’s Rapid DNA initiative is to link FBI-approved instruments in booking stations capable of producing a DNA profile of qualified arrestees within two hours to the FBI’s existing CODIS (Combined DNA Index System) database, in order to search unsolved crimes of special concern while the arrestee is in police custody during the booking process.
