President’s Message 2024: 75 Years - Indispensable & Evolving

Thank you to the volunteers who served on the Board of Directors, the CFC, CGA, REC, and RSIP committees, and the various working groups over the past year. [...] COGR’s success depends on the support of our member institutions and the commitment and efforts of our Board of Directors, Committee members, volunteers who serve on working groups, session panels and more, and the support of our member institutions. [...] The National Science and Technology Council’s (NSTC) Research Security Subcommittee issued common disclosure forms for the biographical sketch and current and pending support sections on applications for federal research and development grants and cooperative agreements, and the Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) issued guidance to agencies on their implementation. [...] C., we had the opportunity to recognize and congratulate Robert Hardy on 23 years as the Director of Research Security and Intellectual Property (formerly Contracts and Intellectual Property), and David Kennedy for his 18 years of service as the Director of Costing and Financial Compliance. [...] COGR will host a webinar on the Pilot Program for interested and participating institutions in the coming months, and details will be sent to the COGR listserv and on COGR’s website.
