As urban leaders and policy makers we have a huge responsibility to respond to the needs and aspirations of our citizens, and to build the resilience, sustainability and equity which the challenges of our times demand from us. [...] From expanding our flagship programs to renewing our focus and creating our theory of change and the monitoring, evaluation and learning systems for it, we’ve worked over the last two years to lay the foundation for a network that meets the needs of cities of the future. [...] And yet somehow the concepts a community of practitioners dedicated of resilience transcend all of that and to ensuring resilient future for cities and the things we need to put in place to neighborhoods. [...] We asked several of our CROs to share their insights Resilient Cities Network taught me how on how the role has evolved since its inception and to talk to people, to talk to government representatives, gave me the tools the how changes in cities and in the broader resilience work through issues and solve issues.
