[...] It was clear from the podium at the AIMS For the Love of Nova Scotia event, and from the 250 participants of the afternoon symposium and the 300 guests of the dinner event, that business and community leaders are committed to addressing the major issues facing Nova Scotia's economy. [...] The forum supported the notion of increasing health literacy through campaigns conveying clearly the most important concepts in healthcare, helping the public to focus on fundamental questions such as the purpose of health care, the measurement of results and the crucial issue of evaluating the likely benefits and harms of proposed treatments including in mental health and the evaluation of public.
