With the end of 2020 now in sight, however, I think the only thing left for us to do is to say thank you! We are very grateful for the resilience of ARCUS staff who weathered the storms of this year’s program cancellations and/or last minute shifts to virtual environments. [...] Association of Polar Early Career Educators (APECS) ARCUS and APECS have a Memorandum of Inuit Circumpolar Council - Alaska (ICC-Alaska) Understanding that acknowledges the joint ICC-Alaska is a co-lead with ARCUS on the Arctic commitment of both organizations to the Indigenous Scholars Program, which creates professional development of early career polar opportunities for Indigenous scholars to e. [...] PTC meetings have been held annually from Communications 2005–2016, relying heavily on volunteers to host andorganize the event.  In 2016, PTC organizers noted that the Data Access and Sharing event had grown to the point of needing significant Overarching and administration and planning and, in 2019, the Arctic Research Integrative Technology Consortium of the US (ARCUS) was tasked by the Nationa. [...] ARCUS has provided preliminary community coordination and support for Navigating the New Arctic investigators in advance of the establishment of a dedicated NNA Community Office.  In 2020, ARCUS worked with the National Science Foundation to host the first all-hands meeting of the NNA Investigator community and to develop an online hub of NNA research projects funded to date.  "..the best designed. [...] Currently supported through the STEM at the Poles! Research Experiences for Formal and Informal Educators in the Polar Regions grant from the National Science Foundation (Award #1918637), this program invigorates polar science education and understanding by bringing educators and polar researchers together through field-based, hands- on, research experiences in both the Arctic and Antarctica.
