This Bulletin edition sheds light on how Open Innovation approaches and practices have evolved over the years and delves into the intricate relationship between Open Innovation and IP management. In our opening interview, Professor Wim Vanhaverbeke from the Faculty of Business Economics at the University of Antwerp argues that Open Innovation has the potential to be even more impactful than it currently is if companies use it not only for developing new products but also for achieving strategic objectives.
