Transforming Our Horizons M E M O R I A L U N I V E R S I T Y ’ S S T R A T E G I C P L A N / 2 0 2 1 - 2 0 2 6 We acknowledge that the lands on which Memorial University’s campuses are situated are in the traditional territories of diverse Indigenous groups, and we acknowledge with respect the histories and cultures of the Beothuk, Mi’kmaq, Innu and Inuit of this province. [...] We examined our present strengths and concerns, evaluated our needs and aspirations for the future, explored ways to expand upon our current practices, and endeavoured to foster a culture of creativity, inclusivity and innovation that will be the foundation of the institution of higher learning we must become.
