The Managers shall be responsible for the administration of the Fund and the application of its income and shall comprise the Head of the School of the Physical Sciences, who shall be Chair, the Head of the Department of Chemistry, and three members of the Regent House appointed by the General Board, one of whom should not be a member of the Department of Chemistry, for such period as the Board sh. [...] Subject to Regulation 4, the Managers shall apply the income at their discretion and in such manner as they determine to advance education and research in the field of Chemistry, including but not limited to the payment of the stipend, national insurance, pension contributions, and associated indirect costs of posts, and to the provision of studentships.
