On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Fourth World Conference on Women and the adoption of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action (1995), the UN Economic and So- cial Council decided at its 64th session in 2020 that the Commission on the Status of Women would review and evaluate implementation of the Beijing declarations and platforms for action, and the results of the 23rd speci.
