[...] 9% of the young people that responded to our survey said that they had been advised to shield during the pandemic and 29% of the total respondents told us that they had a long-term illness or disability that impacts on their ability to carry out day to day tasks. [...] Rather, the comparisons in the report are made to identify how the impact of the pandemic has changed over time, how access to support has developed, and how young people with mental health needs feel about the future at this critical time.
