IPT SPECIALISATION COURSE - on Intersectional Gender Work and Peacebuilding

Analyzing how multiple aspects of identity intersect and define the diverse experiences and forms of agency in conflict, leads to a better understanding of conflict dynamics and power relations between actors and groups – thereby enabling more inclusive and sustainable peacebuilding strategies. [...] • Get equipped with tools to incorporate principles and methods of intersectionality in peacebuilding and educational work to foster inclusive environments and peace strategies. [...] At the end of the training, participants should be familiar with the main theories and concepts around intersec- tionality, gender and peacebuilding and have the necessary skills and knowledge to apply alternative, innovative, and creative intersectional practices in their own work. [...] • Practitioners and academics who want to reflect and expand their experiences, insights, and skills in an international and interdisciplinary training environment.
