Colleagues, distinguished delegates, [In making this Statement, Greece aligns itself with the statement delivered by the distinguished representative of the European Union]. [...] Our Water River Management Plans have a strong climate dimension and are the main tool to promote sustainable water use, through of a variety of measures, such as optimization of irrigation, proper costing and pricing of water, and the resuse of treated wastewaters. [...] A successful example is our cooperation with Albania, North Macedonia and the EU for the implementation of the Agreement on the Protection and Sustainable Development of the Prespa Park Area, aiming to boost sustainable local development, through a multi-stakeholder approach.
