Recognizing these challenges, the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) has developed the Sustainability and Circularity in the Textile Value Chain - A Global Roadmap. The roadmap outlines strategies and actions to promote sustainable practices, reduce environmental impact, and enhance circularity within the textile sector.Organized with Global Opportunities for Sustainable Development Goals (GO4SDGs) support and framed with the UNEP Textile Initiative, this webinar aims at translating the Global Roadmap into regional realities, bringing together different actors and showcasing projects currently been implemented in Asia and the Pacific.  This webinar is part of a series of events designed to advance sustainable consumption and production in the region. Organized with support of GO4SDGs and the 10YFP, in collaboration with AIT, this series brings together experts and stakeholders committed to driving impactful change.
