The Core Human Rights Principles for Private Conservation Organizations and Funders were developed through extensive consultations and collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders committed to advancing human rights and environmental conservation. These include private conservation organizations, funders, UN agencies, Member States, human rights and environmental experts, civil society organizations and rights holders.
