A rapid damage and needs assessment conducted by the World Bank, following a request from the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), estimated that the total value of the damage and losses in the three most affected sectors (transport, irrigation, and agriculture) in the nine most affected provinces was in the range of US$448-490 million.
