The project will be implemented by the Rwanda Information Society Authority (RISA) under the Ministry of ICT and Innovation and the Development Bank of Rwanda (BRD). [...] To ensure a harmonized approach in addressing the E&S risks and impacts of the project, and as permitted under AIIB’s Environmental and Social Policy (ESP), it was agreed that the WB ESF will apply to the project in lieu of AIIB’s Environmental and Social Policy (ESP).
