As of October 6, 2021, the country had received a total of 5,690,010 doses of COVID-19 vaccines comprising of AstraZeneca, Sinovac, Moderna, Pfizer and Johnson and Johnson from the COVAX Facility as well as donations from the Governments of India, the United States of America, Norway, the United Kingdom, China, France and Ireland. [...] Implementation of the grant component of the Project contributed to increasing the number of laboratory tests for suspected COVID-19 cases, screening at priority points of entry, and training of personnel in critical and acute medical care.
