[...] However, the Law of Georgia on Vocational Education is still essential in the context of labour migration and skills development, as it lays the foundation for lifelong learning and the approximation ‘of the vocational education system of Georgia to the single European educational area’. [...] For the system to work effectively, there is a need to include migration in the VET development agenda on the one hand and the skills dimension in the legal migration and development agenda on the other. [...] In the case of other leading non-state reintegration support programmes, implemented by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Georgia, the French Office for Immigration and Integration (OFII) and Caritas Georgia, the number of beneficiaries varies significantly from year to year, often depending on the amount of funding and the goals of the specific programme. [...] The UNESCO database is the source for the international mobile students the sum of two items defined in the sixth edition of the International indicators.
