Seconded National Expert in the Operations Department

Within the Operations Department, as part of one of the units/secretariats1, the SNE will support different activities within the Operations Department with the aim to strengthen the role of Eurojust in judicial cooperation and coordination. [...] Before the period of secondment begins, the SNE’s employer shall certify to Eurojust that the SNE will remain, throughout the period of secondment, subject to the social security legislation applicable to the employer and will assume responsibility for expenses incurred abroad. [...] The SNE may be entitled to reimbursement of the cost of his/her travel between his/her place of origin and the place of secondment at the beginning and end of his/her secondment. [...] Following such a request, without prejudice to the possibilities for instituting proceedings under the conditions laid down by Article 263 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, an applicant may submit a complaint to the Complaints Committee against a decision adversely affecting him/her (e.g. [...] The period shall start to run on the date of notification of the decision to the person concerned, but in no case later than the date on which the latter received such notification.
