The overarching objective of the ESSA is to assess the adequacy of the RGoB’s system to ensure that the risks and impacts of the Program activities are identified and mitigated, and to strengthen systems and build capacity to deliver the PforR in a sustainable manner, if necessary. [...] Purpose and Objectives of the ESSA The Environmental and Social Systems Assessment (ESSA) is being prepared by the Bank’s task team following the world Bank P4R guidelines and reviewing relevant government policies and acts and analyzing MOLHR and MoE’s existing capacity to manage Environmental and Social issues during implement of the proposed program.
