The project has financed the rehabilitation and reconstruction of 130 affected critical infrastructures following the 2016 flood disaster, including bridges, canals, dikes, and revetments, drinking water supply systems, and evacuation roads using build-back-better measures. [...] Notably, the completed infrastructures have been functioning effectively, particularly during the last two rainy seasons, and communities in the provinces have benefited greatly from the rehabilitated and upgraded infrastructure. [...] The implementation of disaster recovery capacity enhancement actions was successfully completed in June 2020, with all expected outcomes and outputs delivered and exceeded, including the finalization of an integrated flood risk management plan for three river basins in the Central Region. [...] Comments: The actual result reflects beneficiaries in 5 provinces who benefitted from the reconstruction and rehabilitation of selected roads. [...] The number of beneficiaries in each of the project provinces: Ha Tinh: 101,268; Ninh Thuan: 37,319; Quang Ngai: 45,565; Phu Yen: 76,708; Binh Dinh: 490,458.
