Currently, he is a Visiting Professor at KCL, where he chairs the Project for Peaceful Competition, a Vice President of the Great Britain China Centre, a Fellow of the Legatum Institute, a Senior Adviser to the Faraday Institution and to Teneo, and a member of the Advisory Council of the Bennett Institute for Public Policy at Cambridge. [...] Zamora was the first Director of the National Hydrocarbons Agency from 2003 to 2011, emphasizing in the creation and strengthening of the new regulatory authority of the hydrocarbon sector in Colombia, as well as the adoption of a new model for concession contracts. [...] In addition to being a consultant for the United Nations, multilateral institutions, and governments, he is a member of the Board of Directors of Centro Brasil no Clima and a Distinguished Fellow of the Global Federation of Competitiveness Councils. [...] As an academic, he was the author and co-author of several books, published articles in 4 Collaborator: specialized journals, and was a professor at the Faculty of Economics and the Institute of Industrial Economics at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). [...] He is also an Adjunct Professor of Economics at the NYU Stern School of Business, a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and of the National Committee on US-China Relations, and a senior non-resident fellow of the Brookings-Tsinghua Center in Beijing.
