[...] The central objective of the conference was to foster a continental and national CSA readiness to avert the negative effects of climate change and ensure the sustainability of agriculture, food, and nutritional security using the food systems approach. [...] As indicated in the conference guide, the objective of this conference is to: (1) Present and discuss progress on the state of CSA initiatives and the contributions of science. [...] Results on the effect of CSA adoption on the productivity of the sampled smallholder farmers show that the adoption of CSA was statistically significant at 1 percent level (p = 0.000) and positively correlated with the total value product (TVP) of the farmers.
