EuroMed Justice (EMJ) strengthens strategic and operational cooperation among South Partner Countries, EU Member States, Eurojust, the European Judicial Network (EJN) and other EU judicial and law-e. [...] WHO PARTICIPATES? High-level active criminal justice officials (judges, prosecutors and legal advisors) designated by the Ministries of Justice, Prosecution Offices and judiciary professionals from EU Member States and South Partner Countries, as well as representatives of relevant European and International Organisations. [...] By building a sustainable coordination and cooperation mechanism that allows justice practitioners to link up and work together across regional and cross-regional platforms supported by Eurojust and the EJN. [...] Its members exercise the cross-region’s ownership, steer the process of judicial cooperation and monitor its results. [...] First held in 2018, this annual high-level meeting involving Prosecutors General of EU Member States and South Partner Countries, is organised to assure political and strategic ownership and offer opportunities for bilateral discussion and interaction on high-level cases.
