This Report Will: (a) provide a brief overview of firearm suicide epidemiology, risk factors for suicide, and the evidence in support of temporary risk-based firearm removal for suicide prevention; (b) introduce the concept of lethal means safety counseling, including the best available evidence for its efficacy and the Consortium’s recommendations for its practice; (c) discuss the importance of i.
