The study aims to achieve three objectives: to understand the challenges and needs of international students enrolled in Toronto-area colleges, to learn about the policies and programs of colleges to support international students and to provide recommendations to enhance the service infrastructure for international students. [...] 1.1 Purpose of the Study The main goal of this study is to address a broad question: what are the best practices in supporting international college students in Toronto? Through addressing the question, the study aims to achieve three objectives: • To understand the challenges and needs of international college students enrolled in Toronto-area colleges. [...] Finally, the last part of analysis emphasizes the service and support structure for international students in the public colleges in the GTA. [...] The discussion highlights the service needs and existing services for students in relation to the seven themes discussed above, the roles that different stakeholders play to provide and enhance services, and their recommendations for the best and effective practices related to service provision and delivery.
