Consider the: service user's tested or presumed COVID-19 status size of the outbreak spread within the setting units which are affected physical layout of the building vaccination status of the individual and coverage at the setting Seek support from the local HPT managing the outbreak. [...] If admission to the care home or residential setting is in the best interests of the service user's health and wellbeing, then this should be supported. [...] The decision to test and the results must not impact on the urgency of responding to the needs of the child and ensuring their safety and wellbeing. [...] The risk assessment can include factors such as: outbreak status of the premises implementation of staff training and IPC measures size and layout of the setting clinical vulnerability of those attending the setting vaccination uptake in staff and service users staffing levels arrangements for hand hygiene facilities and environmental cleaning the ability to maintain physical distancing if impleme. [...] The measures taken will need to be tailored to the specific residential/short break service and to the individual needs and considerations of those who use the service and of their carers.
