[...] Reform the tax code to support people and the planet4 The tax code is rife with corporate giveaways and unfair provisions which widen income inequality and worsen pollution. [...] Friends of the Earth supports progressive tax reform to make corporations and the wealthy pay their fair share while ending subsidies for environmentally harmful activities, including $20 billion in tax subsidies for the fossil fuel industry.8 Friends of the Earth supports efforts to: - Repeal the Trump tax cuts (i.e., the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act).
