In 2019, the Ministry of Environment (MoE) introduced the policy of National Circular Economy Strategy and Action Plan as a result of the proactive collaboration between multi-stakeholders such as the National Council for Sustainable Development under MoE and a team of policy experts of UNDP and SIDA (Ministry of Environment 2021).
