[...] Post-attack platform interactions In the wake of the terrorist attack, the CMS engaged with Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube regarding the various measures the platforms had in place to mitigate the impact of terrorist and problematic content disseminated via their respective services. [...] The CMS notified YouTube of the problematic aspects of the video on the day of its publication (18 October), but the following day the platform declined to take down the video and referred to its own internal analysis stating that the video did not violate YouTube’s community standards.
