BILIA

BILIA, established following the dissolution of the Pakistan Institute of Law and International Affairs (PILIA), is a national research center in the field of law and international affairs whose main objective is to help the country in the establishment of human rights and international cooperation and understanding. BILIA provides a forum for scholars and experts to relate to each other and facilitate the formulation of common policies in important areas of law and international affairs in an increasingly interdependent world order. The institute undertakes programs concerning the business of the state and the government, and has the mandate and resources to undertake programs concerning parliament, the judiciary, and the executive.
