Child Poverty Action Group

Child Poverty Action Group (CPAG) works on behalf of the more than one in four children in the UK growing up in poverty. We work to understand what causes poverty, the impact it has on children’s lives, and how it can be prevented and solved. CPAG collects evidence from families living in poverty, and pushes forward achievable and long-term solutions. CPAG supports families across the UK by giving frontline workers practical help with the social security system so families can stay afloat. Where families experience injustice, CPAG takes legal action to challenge unjust decisions so that families get support from our social security system in times of need.
