Cohort 2040

Cohort 2040 is designing a leadership programme that will cultivate a generation of leaders who are equipped to face the unprecedented challenges of the future. We are exploring how this generation can be better prepared across five areas. Knowledge: How is the environmental crisis making the world riskier and more complex? Communication: What stories can help us navigate through complexity? Connections: How can communities of practice deepen solidarity? Resilience: How can we maintain our wellbeing and respond to such huge challenges? Strategising: What's our plan in our workplace - and for the world? The programme is being designed and tested in partnership with UCL’s Climate Action Unit. Cohort 2040 is funded by a grant from the V. Kann Rasmussen Foundation and is hosted by the Institute for Public Policy Research (IPPR).
