Commission on Political Power

The purpose of the Commission on Political Power is to generate a national debate in the UK on potential legislative and structural reform of our political system. We live in a time of change and our focus is on the future. The Commission will look at our political institutions, their inter-relationships and the balance of power, authority and influence. The Commission is looking at the linear structure of political power in the UK and producing a roadmap for future reform aimed at enhancing legitimacy and democracy. The Commission is co-convended by Frances Cooke and Baroness Frances D'Souza.
