Czech (; Czech čeština [ˈtʃɛʃcɪna]), historically also Bohemian (; lingua Bohemica in Latin), is a West Slavic language of the Czech–Slovak group. Spoken by over 13 million people, it serves as the official language of the Czech Republic.
