The transformation of the economy and the growing influence and wealth of east and 4 the south brought about the process of de-dollarization as the trust to the Western economies is fading and as the countries of the east and south are seeking diversification to increase their resilience to the Western sanctions mostly due to the ongoing practice of using the dominance of dollar to inflict economi. [...] Another aspect of the global economic transformation is the pressures posed by the climate change which necessitates the green transition to reduce release of carbon emissions.6 The states invest heavily in different sectors such as forestation, new technologies, and renewable energy resources to reduce and emissions and eventually to curb the implications of the climate change. [...] Türkiye sitting on the intersection of the West and the East, the North and the South, has a unique geostrategic position to influence the shifts in the global order. [...] During the Dubai Air Show, 13 November 2023, the participation of the Turkish defense industry firms and seal of different agreements moved the relations to another level to include smart weapons and space technologies1.0 The defense technologies and know-how shared with the UAE can elevate the country to a level of security provider in the Gulf region which overlooks intensive maritime traffic. [...] The 1984 Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement, the 1994 Agreement on the Avoidance of Double Taxation, and the 2005 Agreement on the Promotion and Protection of Reciprocal Investment have been the main cornerstones in promoting trade and investment relations between the two countries ( Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Foreign Trade, 2022).
